Brandon Bordeaux concentrates his practice in telecommunications matters and commercial real estate transactions. Mr. Bordeaux represents telecommunication companies in various real estate-related matters.
While at Wake Forest University, Mr. Bordeaux was a member of the Wake Forest Law Review.
Experience Highlights
- Regularly handles purchase contracts and leases and easements related to telecommunications towers, equipment collocation and fiber optics
- Advises several telecommunications clients on an ongoing basis in connection with the establishment of cellular tower networks in multiple states, which has included preparation and review of leases, subleases, easements and licenses of tower locations as well as numerous title issues
- Negotiates acquisition, sale, leasing, swapping and marketing agreements for fiber optics capacity and cable
- Handles a wide variety of commercial real estate matters, including the acquisition, sale, leasing and financing of retail, warehouse, shopping center and office space
- Represents both landlords and tenants in "big box" retail transactions, including assignments, subletting and title insurance issues related to all types of leases
- Represents institutional lenders and borrowers in financing transactions, including origination of commercial construction and permanent real estate loans, asset based loans and loan restructurings
- Represents mortgage loan portfolio servicers in connection with single-site and multi-site loan assumptions, as well as consent, REMIC and general compliance issues
