Profile
Fred Thompson is an experienced corporate finance attorney with extensive involvement in mergers and acquisitions and general business law.
As lead counsel for both public and privately owned companies, Mr. Thompson has structured and negotiated financings, acquisitions and divestitures in the steel, publishing, building materials, retail, food service and textile industries.
While at the University of North Carolina, Mr. Thompson was a member of the North Carolina Law Review. In addition, Mr. Thompson served as a lieutenant in the United States Navy from 1965-1971.

Mr. Thompson serves as general counsel and legal advisor to corporations and businesses on a variety of issues, including the following:
