Jim Preston has practiced law for more than 40 years. He has had experience in all areas of tax practice – compliance, controversy, planning and transactional implementation, reorganizations and acquisitions, compensation and benefits, estate planning and probate.

The breadth of Mr. Preston's experience has enabled him to integrate a wide range of legal and financial considerations into comprehensive, effective and efficient tax planning for families and businesses.

While at the University of North Carolina, Mr. Preston was the Editor-In-Chief of the North Carolina Law Review.
