Profile
Since his days as a trial lawyer in the Antitrust Division of the United States Justice Department, John Graybeal's practice has focused primarily in the areas of antitrust and trade regulation, both litigation and counseling.
Mr. Graybeal taught the antitrust law course at the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill from 1995 to 2000. He has also provided volunteer legal services to the North Carolina Justice Center in Raleigh for several years.
Experience Highlights
- Represents a wide variety of clients in the insurance, manufacturing and distribution and health care industries, including corporations, trade associations and individuals
- Assists with the implementation of antitrust compliance programs to satisfy the requirements of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines
- Routinely defends clients involved in federal antitrust grand jury and civil investigations
- Represents clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions under scrutiny by the Antitrust Division of the United States Justice Department and the Federal Trade Commission
