Todd Haynie focuses his transactional work in commercial lending, real estate and corporate law. He has represented both major lending institutions and borrowers in a variety of financing transactions, including construction and permanent real estate loans, asset based loans, and loan workouts and restructurings. Mr. Haynie also provides general corporate advice to clients.

Before joining Parker Poe, Mr. Haynie was previously a partner with Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. in Columbia.

At the University of South Carolina School of Law, Mr. Haynie was the Associate Editor-in-Chief of the South Carolina Law Review.

Experience Highlights

Mr. Haynie regularly represents clients in connection with the following matters:

• Representation of lenders in connection with origination of commercial construction loans
• Representation of borrowers in acquisition and development of commercial and retail projects
• Acting as real estate counsel in connection with low-income housing tax-credit closings
• Representation of lenders in working capital, term and other credit facilities
• Negotiation of loan workouts and the restructuring of existing loans
• Advising corporate clients in organizational and operational matters
