Steve Hunting provides seasoned business advice to clients on energy, water, information technology, and economic development projects and transactions. He represents domestic and international companies in acquisitions, joint ventures, project development, and complex commercial contracts. Steve has considerable experience representing electric utilities, renewable energy developers, universities, hospitals, automotive manufacturers, retailers, lenders, and technology companies. His experience as in-house counsel at a large electric utility helps him provide practical, effective advice.
Steve has worked with energy clients on combined heat and power, solar photovoltaic (PV), solar thermal, wind, and landfill gas projects and acquisitions, tax equity investments in and financing for renewable energy projects, transmission line development and transmission service agreements, and electric generation plant development and acquisitions.
His information technology clients include hospitals and publicly traded automotive manufacturers, retailers, and lenders. Steve has helped those clients launch electronic health record systems, cloud-based patient portals, telematics and GPS technologies, and other IT solutions. He also advises his clients on related data security and privacy issues.
