Profile
Steve Hunting counsels domestic and international clients on complex commercial projects and agreements. He has particular experience in the information technology, energy and economic development fields. He provides practical advice to clients in structuring and negotiating agreements and helps them achieve their strategic and risk management goals.
Mr. Hunting also served as in-house counsel at a public utility and energy services company.
Experience Highlights
Mr. Hunting’s representative experience includes the following:
- Representing healthcare providers, software companies, and other businesses in developing, protecting and licensing software and other technology, including software as a service arrangements, outsourcing contracts, and maintenance and service level agreements
- Assisting renewable energy companies with electric power and thermal energy projects, including project development, energy supply and interconnection agreements
- Representing energy companies in power plant development projects, major equipment purchases, engineering, procurement and construction contracts, and operation and maintenance agreements
- Representing companies and local governments in negotiating economic development agreements and incentives for data centers, renewable energy projects, and manufacturing and other facilities
- Negotiating telecommunications agreements, logistics contracts, distributor and sales representative agreements, supply agreements, equipment leases, and other complex commercial contracts
- Advising companies on data privacy and security laws and electronic contracting issues
