Profile
Eddie Poe has more than 37 years of experience in representing electric service providers in project development, regulatory, and litigation matters.
Mr. Poe is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Additionally, Mr. Poe is a graduate of Harvard University’s Advanced Management Program.
Experience Highlights
Mr. Poe represents and advises clients in a range of issues, including:
- Merchant power plant development
- Real estate matters including options to purchase, zoning and land acquisition, special use permits, and county/municipal laws
- Independent power producer issues including certification by regulatory agencies, permitting and purchase power agreements (PPAs)
- Condemnation matters
