(Raleigh, N.C.)—The law firm of Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP announced today that the Triangle Business Journal recognized Jeffrey A. Bandini among its 40 Under 40 Leadership Awards for 2010. Each year, the weekly business newspaper honors 40 people under the age of 40 for their community and professional achievements.

“40 Under 40 winners are truly the leaders of tomorrow,” says Charlene Grunwaldt, publisher, Triangle Business Journal. “Not only do these individuals have impressive bodies of work, they display immense potential for great things in the future. Our tomorrow is certainly brighter in the hands of these young achievers.”

Drawing on a Master’s Degree and background in Land Use and Transportation Planning, a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and more than 12 years experience counseling clients in the public and private sectors, Mr. Bandini provides clients with legal advice on a variety of land and infrastructure development issues. From New Urbanism initiatives around transit stations, to negotiating agreements for the shared-use of railroad right of way for public transit projects, to renewable energy development, his portfolio of urban and infrastructure development projects continues to grow with the evolving needs of his progressive, results-driven clientele.

Outside of his client work, Mr. Bandini serves on the Advisory Board for the Washington, D.C.-based U.S. High Speed Rail Association and currently participates in and organizes public outreach initiatives to support the development of High Speed Rail in North Carolina, Virginia and the Southeast. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and is in his second term as Vice Chair of the City of Raleigh Transit Authority. In addition, Mr. Bandini is the Marketing Partner for Parker Poe’s Raleigh office and is Chair of the Firm’s Paralegal Committee. He also heads the Firm’s newly created Infrastructure Development team.

For the past four years, Mr. Bandini has received recognition by various publications and organizations for his outstanding legal work. Since 2007, he has been named annually in The Best Lawyers in America for Railroad Law, an honor voted on by other attorneys and in-house counsel. Additionally in 2010, Jeff was named a “Rising Star” in North Carolina Super Lawyers.

Prior to joining Parker Poe, Mr. Bandini was an attorney in the Transportation Section of the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office. He worked in the NCDOT’s Rail Division, focusing on High Speed Rail corridor and passenger station development.
