(CHARLESTON, SC) – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP announces that Thomas C. Hildebrand, Jr. has joined the Firm as a Partner in the Charleston office. He will work in the Commercial and Construction Practice Group, which is part of Parker Poe’s Litigation Department.

Mr. Hildebrand’s legal practice focuses on representing regional and national homebuilders, developers, contractors, property owners and other concerns regarding complex construction-related claims, procurement and preparation of contracts. Additionally, he is a well-known speaker and author in the construction field.

As his peers and sometimes adversaries, we have had high regard for his tremendous legal skills, experience and knowledge for a long time. Formerly a Shareholder with Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, Mr. Hildebrand is on the Forum Committee for Contract Negotiations and the Forum Committee on the Construction Industry for the South Carolina Bar and American Bar Association. He is also a member of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association and the Defense Research Institute, Inc.

Mr. Hildebrand has been included in the 2008-2013 editions of South Carolina Super Lawyers and the 2010-2013 editions of The Best Lawyers in America in Construction Litigation.

Mr. Hildebrand earned his BA from The Citadel in 1982 and his JD from Wake Forest University in 1985.
