RALEIGH, N.C. – Raleigh law firm Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP announced today that it recently donated computers to William G. Enloe High School, a magnet school in Wake County.

The 30 computer workstations will be primarily used in the school's Publications room, where participating sophomores, juniors, and seniors will have access to the machines to build the yearbook under the guidance of Sharon Lineberry, a teacher at Enloe who helped facilitate the donation from Parker Poe. Newspaper advisor Trudy Price-O'Neil and her students also use the Publications room to publish the school paper. In addition, stations will be available in the guidance counseling office for students to work on college applications. The remaining computers will be placed in other classrooms of need, as well as one located in the teacher's lounge for planning purposes.

"We are grateful to Parker Poe for this generous donation," said Lineberry. "These computers are faster, better-quality, and more reliable than our previous ones, allowing us to provide enhanced technology support to our students."

As a result of its upcoming move to a new office space at PNC Plaza in downtown Raleigh (and technology upgrades), Parker Poe had computers available to donate to the local high school. The new office, scheduled to be complete in November, will deviate from the traditional layout and design of a traditional law office and instead will provide progressive and innovative space for its employees and clients.
