Six Parker Poe Attorneys Named to Benchmark Litigation's Under 40 Hot List

Charlotte, NC – Parker Poe is pleased to announce that six attorneys have been named to Benchmark Litigation’s Under 40 Hot List, a new accolade honoring the achievements of the nation’s most accomplished legal partners of the age of forty or younger. Benchmark Litigation determines the winners through a process of peer review and case examination. The complete list of top contenders is compiled over many months assembling the collection of these young, up-and-coming attorneys.

Parker Poe is proud to announce our six attorneys who have received this accolade:

Jason Benton’s practice focuses on complex civil disputes with an emphasis on the defense of personal injury, property damage, municipal liability, products liability, and professional malpractice claims. Mr. Benton counsels clients in a wide variety of industries, including governmental, insurance, utilities and manufacturing.

Jason Herndon concentrates his practice primarily in construction law. He provides solutions-oriented guidance to his clients aimed at achieving positive outcomes as efficiently as possible. Mr. Herndon’s clients consist of a diverse group of industry participants including design professionals, public utilities, regional and national contractors, municipalities, private project owners, and construction sureties.

Sarah Hutchins practices in the area of commercial litigation, with a particular focus on competition law, and in the area of white collar crime investigation and defense. She works with clients in disputes involving business torts and antitrust claims, as well as other general commercial disputes. Ms. Hutchins has significant experience advising clients in large-scale government investigations and further counsels clients on compliance with federal and state consumer privacy and protection laws, specifically in the area of data privacy and cybersecurity law.

Jenna McGee concentrates her practice on complex commercial and construction litigation. She represents a broad range of clients, including multinational corporations, financial institutions, national and local businesses, and individuals.

Morgan Rogers advises clients and litigates a wide variety of business and fiduciary matters, including related to real property, corporate governance, banking and lending, trusts and estates, and general commercial disputes.

Caleb Thomas advises clients regarding creditors’ rights with a specific focus on asset-based lending and bankruptcy. His clients include local, regional and major national banks, as well as other institutional and individual lenders.
