Parker Poe Receives JD Supra 2017 Readers' Choice Awards; Second Consecutive Year With Winning Authors

Charlotte, NC – Parker Poe, a business law firm with seven offices across the Southeast, today announced its receipt of JD Supra’s Readers’ Choice Awards for the second straight year. JD Supra, an online resource that delivers need-to-know legal and business content, has awarded Parker Poe attorneys for their writing and article contributions. Jonathan Crotty, Doug Harmon and Michel Vanesse won JD Supra 2017 Readers’ Choice Awards on Monday, March 20. The attorneys were recognized for thought leadership on key, cross-industry topics and for excellent reach with readers in a specific industry.

Mr. Harmon, Mr. Vanesse and Mr. Crotty were selected out of more than 40,000 authors whose work is showcased through JD Supra’s daily emails, social feeds and online platforms. Mr. Vanesse advises clients on all aspects of employee benefits and executive compensation. He has represented public and privately held companies, nonprofits and governmental organizations. Mr. Crotty leads Parker Poe’s Employment & Benefits group. He has solved problems for large and small employers in the Carolinas and beyond for more than two decades.

Mr. Crotty was also recognized as a top author in the retail industry for two consecutive years. Joining him as a top author in that industry for 2017 is Doug Harmon, also a partner in Parker Poe’s Charlotte office. Mr. Harmon has more than 30 years of experience representing domestic and international clients in a range of industries, including retail, financial services and energy. He leads the firm’s Securities & Corporate Governance group, as well as its Public Company Growth & Compliance group.
