Greenville, S.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that the South Carolina Economic Developers’ Association (SCEDA) has elected Michael Kozlarek to its board of directors. Michael is Parker Poe’s Greenville office development partner and focuses much of his legal practice on economic development.
SCEDA serves as the voice of economic development in South Carolina. Its members include government officials, construction and engineering firms, utility companies, colleges and universities, and others in the economic development arena. Since 1965, SCEDA has played a critical role in the growth and evolution of South Carolina’s economy.
Michael has partnered with SCEDA, as well as local, national, and international businesses, to assist with the state’s growth. He is a South Carolina Certified Economic Developer (SCCED) with a deep understanding of the intersection between law and economic development. He has extensive experience financing projects for state and local governments, as well as not-for-profit entities and corporations.
Michael’s term on SCEDA’s board of directors will run through 2020.
