Amy Allen Hinson is a registered patent attorney who partners with clients to obtain and enforce intellectual property rights. She serves as a strategic business adviser, counseling companies in a variety of industries on the best ways to protect their assets in the U.S. and abroad. She recently wrote a guest column in the Upstate Business Journal about how businesses can maximize the value of their patent portfolio. She has extensive experience mitigating risks and resolving disputes.

Amy is a graduate of Leadership Greenville and is deeply involved in the community. She serves on the Executive Committee of the Urban League of the Upstate, which works to empower young people, develop a diverse labor force, and make the Upstate community more equal. She is also the former chair of Greenville’s Board of Zoning Appeals.
