Jason Herndon Becomes Chair of N.C. Bar Association's Construction Law Section

Raleigh, N.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Jason Herndon is now serving as chair of the Construction Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA).

The NCBA’s Construction Law Section is comprised of nearly 500 attorneys who help lay the groundwork for the practice of construction law across North Carolina. Jason previously served as the section’s vice chair and as chair of its Lien Law Committee and Ethics & Legislative Affairs Committee.

At Parker Poe, Jason’s clients consist of a diverse group of industry participants that include design professionals, public utilities, regional and national contractors, municipalities, private project owners, and construction sureties. He regularly handles construction claims with millions of dollars – and sometimes tens of millions of dollars – at stake for his clients. He has successfully litigated a wide variety of construction issues, and he routinely provides advice to his clients on dispute avoidance, contract negotiation issues, and other matters.
