Offices
The Firm opened a Charleston office in 2004 to meet the needs of the thriving business community in South Carolina's second-largest city. The city of Charleston's estimated population is over 100,000 and more than 580,000 residents live in the Tri-County Area, which includes Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties.
Reasonable business costs, a thriving local economy, beautiful surroundings, comfortable climate and quality of life put Charleston top on the list for today's cutting-edge companies. Since 1995, new and expanding businesses have invested more than $5 billion in the area. The Port of Charleston is the largest port on the Southeast Atlantic and Gulf coasts and the fourth busiest container port nationwide.
The region also boasts a multi-billion dollar visitor industry, one of the Southeast's most impressive medical hubs and a well-established base of national and international manufacturers. In addition, historic homes, plantations, museums, fine restaurants, wide sandy beaches and numerous recreational opportunities are abundant in and around Charleston.
Since 1993, Charleston has been named as one of the top 10 travel destinations in the U.S. by Condé Nast Traveler magazine. Charleston has also topped the unofficial list of best-mannered cities in the United States for more than ten years.
