Brett Morgan concentrates his practice on banking and capital markets. He has represented commercial lenders in loan acquisitions worth upwards of $100 million, as well as originations, servicing, and liquidations. He has also advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, including assisting with due diligence reviews, stockholder agreements, and sales and purchase agreements. He has experience with corporate governance issues such as drafting corporate bylaws as well.
Prior to joining Parker Poe, Brett worked for a law firm in West Palm Beach, Florida. He received his law degree from William and Mary, where he interned in the school's Veterans Benefits Clinic and helped veterans appeal benefit denials. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Florida. While at the University of Florida, he studied abroad in London and interned for a member of Parliament.
