Francie McCanless focuses her practice on commercial real estate and financing transactions. She assists a variety of clients, including financial institutions, homebuilders, and developers, in real estate projects throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. In addition, she is a LEED Green Associate.
While attending Vanderbilt University, Francie was the senior notes editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment & Technology Law and the section editor for Obiter Dictum. She also worked with the law school’s Street Law program, teaching legal education classes for teens and women at local nonprofits, and she served on the executive board of the Vanderbilt Bar Association. Before law school, she taught middle school math in Charlotte, N.C., through Teach For America.
