Jeff Poley has been practicing municipal bond and banking/finance law for nearly 25 years. He has helped close large and small transactions all along the Eastern Seaboard. He joined Parker Poe in 2007 as a partner in the Public Finance Group in the firm's Raleigh office.
Jeff has worked extensively as bond counsel, bank counsel, and underwriter's counsel in financings for hospitals, continuing care retirement communities, senior living providers, schools, universities, and colleges. He also works on general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, installment financings, and interest rate swap transactions. While much of his practice is in the tax-exempt lending space, he also regularly serves as lender's and borrower's counsel in traditional commercial banking transactions.
He received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
