Michael Hall focuses on U.S. and international trademark clearance, prosecution, licensing, enforcement, and counseling, including handling contested proceedings before the USPTO’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Michael has managed the trademark portfolios of clients of all sizes, ranging from individuals to two of the world’s most recognizable consumer electronics companies. He also handles copyright matters and domain-name disputes under ICANN’s Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy.
Michael began his legal career as a trademark examining attorney at the USPTO, where he examined thousands of trademark applications and helped revamp the office’s training materials for new attorneys.
