Nathan Babcock serves as government relations director for Parker Poe's Government Relations & Lobbying Team. Nathan supports firm clients with the development and execution of comprehensive government relations strategies at the local, state, and federal level, including lobbying, communications, political consulting, issue ad campaigns, and independent expenditure campaigns.

Prior to joining Parker Poe, Nathan served as political director for the North Carolina Chamber, the state's largest business advocacy association, where he successfully lobbied for comprehensive legislative priorities that include tax reform, tort reform, and transportation funding modifications. Nathan also advised the Chamber on political strategy and helped launch its independent expenditure program, a super PAC that successfully supported candidates in more than 30 state legislative and judicial races from 2012 to 2016. In 2015 and 2016, the N.C. Chamber received regional and national awards for communications excellence for an issue ad campaign and lobbying effort Nathan helped develop and execute.

Nathan previously served as political director for the North Carolina Republican Senate Caucus. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
