Nick Kirby is a litigator who focuses on complex civil and criminal litigation and investigations. He has represented clients in state and federal courts and before the Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Department of Justice, and other government agencies. He also has significant experience conducting internal investigations. He has handled a wide variety of cases, including those involving foreign and domestic bribery, accounting and securities fraud, and antitrust issues.
Nick maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing foster parents in adoption proceedings.
Prior to joining Parker Poe, Nicolas worked for a large firm in Washington, D.C. He also formerly interned with the Honorable Todd E. Edelman of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. He received his law degree from Georgetown University, where he served as an executive editor of The Georgetown Law Journal. He received his undergraduate degree from Duke University.
