Parker Poe Adds Four New Attorneys in North Carolina

(CHARLOTTE, N.C.) – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP announced today that Damian A. Cannon, Frances M. Kammeraad, Jordan D. Temple and Wendy P. Wright have joined the firm.

Damian “Dac” Cannon is an Associate in Parker Poe’s Raleigh office. He represents health care providers and organizations in administrative proceedings and litigation matters and advises clients regarding regulatory issues in the health care industry. Mr. Cannon previously worked as an intern in a private practice that handled managed care and health insurance issues. He also served as a law clerk for an international firm in Washington, D.C., assisting with energy and infrastructure transactions. Mr. Cannon received his BA in 2007, and his JD and MBA in 2013 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Frances “Francie” Kammeraad is an Associate in Parker Poe’s Charlotte office. She focuses her practice on commercial real estate and financing transactions. Ms. Kammeraad assists a variety of clients, including financial institutions, homebuilders and developers in real estate projects throughout North Carolina. Before attending law school, Ms. Kammeraad taught middle school math in Charlotte, NC through Teach For America. She received her BA in 2008 from Middlebury College and her JD in 2013 from Vanderbilt University.

Jordan Temple is an Associate in Parker Poe’s Charlotte office. He focuses his practice on business law matters, advising public and private entities in the areas of securities, mergers and acquisitions and other general corporate matters. As a member of the firm’s Securities & Corporate Governance Group, Mr. Temple also assists clients with corporate governance, securities compliance and capital raising. While attending law school, he clerked for General Electric, researching various legal issues and monitoring new government regulations. Mr. Temple received his BS in 2009 from the University of South Carolina and his JD in 2013 from the University of Cincinnati.

Wendy Wright is an Associate in Parker Poe’s Charlotte office. She focuses her practice on resolving legal, regulatory and business issues affecting professionals and organizations in the health care industry. Her clients include hospitals, physician groups and other health care providers. Ms. Wright received her BA from Louisiana State University in 2008 and her JD in 2013 from Vanderbilt University, where she was an editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transactional Law.
