Raleigh, N.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Raleigh partner Jeff Poley has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel.
The American College of Bond Counsel was created to recognize “lawyers who have established reputations among their peers for their skill, experience, and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of bond law.” Admission as a Fellow is extremely limited, and nominees must have at least 10 years of substantial experience.
Jeff Poley has been practicing municipal bond and banking/finance law for more than 20 years. He has helped close large and small transactions all along the Eastern Seaboard and has worked extensively with schools, universities, colleges, hospitals, and continuing care retirement communities. He also serves as lender’s and borrower’s counsel in traditional commercial banking transactions. Chambers USA has given him its highest possible ranking for public finance law in North Carolina, Band 1, based on in-depth interviews and objective research.
Jeff is a member of Parker Poe’s Public Finance Team, which has received a National Tier 1 ranking by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers for three straight years. Jeff joins Public Finance Team leader Scott Leo as a Fellow in the American College of Bond Counsel.
