Atlanta, G.A. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Shaun Adams has joined Parker Poe’s Atlanta office as Counsel. Shaun will focus his practice on state and federal government relations, land use and zoning, and economic development.
He has several years of experience assisting with land use and zoning matters before local governments throughout the metro Atlanta area and has guided developments of regional impact through the regional commission review process. He has worked with state and local leaders on issues related to economic development, transportation, revenue and finance, land use, and elections and campaign management. Adams has been a registered lobbyist with the State of Georgia for many years, representing clients in government relations, advocacy, and procurement before counties and cities, state agencies, and the Georgia General Assembly.

His previous experience includes working as the Legal Counsel for the Georgia Senate Judiciary Committee, and also for ACCG, Georgia's County Association, where he handled issues related to revenue and finance, transportation, economic development, and ethics and elections.
Adams earned his law degree from the Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, where he was the Executive Legislative Editor of Law Review, and his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, where he was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
