Brian Cromwell and Henry Campen Selected as 2016 Leaders in the Law Honorees

Charlotte, NC – Brian Cromwell and Henry Campen, Partners in Parker Poe’s Charlotte and Raleigh offices respectively, have been named honorees for North Carolina Lawyers Weekly’s 2016 Leaders in the Law award based on their leadership and professionalism. An awards reception will be held on Friday, September 23rd at the Glenwood Club in Raleigh where one honoree from the 2016 class will receive the highest award as the Lawyer of the Year.

Brian Cromwell, a former state and federal prosecutor with significant jury trial experience, counsels clients on white collar criminal defense, regulatory enforcement defense, complex civil litigation and internal investigations. Mr. Cromwell also makes presentations to youth groups, schools, religious organizations and companies about the dangers of the internet and social media.  Mr. Cromwell is a member of the Public Company Growth & Compliance group.

Henry Campen leads the firm’s multidisciplinary Energy Industry Practice which provides regulatory, permitting, tax, finance, real estate and environmental counsel to renewable energy developers and market participants across a broad spectrum of technologies.  Mr. Campen counsels developers of utility scale wind and solar projects successfully navigate complex federal, state and local regulations for electric generating plants. Mr. Campen has permitted over 3,000 megawatts of renewable energy fueled electrical generation.

Brian and Henry join previously named partners Melanie Dubis (2011), Wanda Townsend (2014), and Sarah Hutchins (2015) in being recognized by Leaders in the Law.
