Thomas C. Hildebrand Jr


Tom Hildebrand has more than 25 years of experience handling litigation matters related to the construction industry. He represents developers, homebuilders, contractors, owners and sureties with pre-construction, construction and post-construction problem-solving.

Tom regularly works with construction professionals using critical-path and other methods in prosecuting and defending claims in connection with project scheduling and changes of scope. He has handled hundreds of construction defect matters ranging from minor issues to cases involving numerous parties and tens of millions of dollars in claimed damages.

In addition to his litigation practice, he has extensive experience negotiating and drafting construction contract documents.

Tom is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. District Court of South Carolina.
