Brandon Bordeaux concentrates his practice in telecommunications matters and commercial real estate transactions. He has more than 13 years of experience working with the wireless and wireline telecommunications industry.

Brandon's practice includes all aspects of the wireless infrastructure industry, including representing and advising tower companies, site acquisition companies, surveyors, appraisers, title companies and engineering companies. He also represents wireless infrastructure companies and providers, as well as property owners and landlords, in purchasing, selling, leasing and licensing property.

In addition, Brandon advises his clients on compliance issues and registration requirements in connection with the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act of 1968 (ILSFDA or ILSA).

Representative Experience

  • Assisted an international wireless infrastructure company with managing and extending existing tower asset leases and/or acquiring additional property interests in more than 2,000 tower sites; drafting and negotiation of purchase agreements, leases and amendments, easements and deeds, along with assisting in all aspects of closing on each of these matters, including resolving title issues.
  • Represented regional wholesale fiber optic service provider in the purchase of fiber network and all related assets, including acquisitions of related fiber agreements.
  • Negotiated multiple indefeasible rights of use (IRU) and leases for fiber and capacity.
  • Represented regional telecommunications company in obtaining CLEC licenses in multiple states.
  • Represented both landlords and tenants in big-box retail transactions, including assignments, subletting and title insurance issues related to all types of leases.
  • Represented institutional lenders and borrowers in financing transactions, including origination of commercial construction and permanent real estate loans, asset based loans and loan restructurings.
  • Represented mortgage loan portfolio servicers in connection with single-site and multi-site loan assumptions, as well as consent, REMIC and general compliance issues.
  • Handled a wide variety of commercial real estate matters, including the acquisition, sale, leasing and financing of retail, warehouse, shopping center and office space.
