Daria Brown focuses her practice on employment and labor law, with a particular focus on litigation.
Before joining Parker Poe, Daria spent a summer at a Winston-Salem-based law firm researching complex legal issues in litigation and criminal law, including professional licensing requirements, estate planning, contract disputes, and admissibility of evidence. She also previously was an intern for a Georgia law firm, where she drafted motions for criminal, civil, and family law proceedings.
Daria earned her law degree from Wake Forest University, where was a member of the Wake Forest Law Review and participated in moot court, competing at both the regional and national level. She also was part of Wake Forest's Appellate Advocacy Clinic, where she drafted and filed a brief to the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. She earned her undergraduate degree from Georgia College & State University, where she was president of the Mock Trial Team.
