Hal Gill has developed a multifaceted, nationwide real estate and finance practice over the course of his 40-year career. He represents numerous national, regional, and local banks throughout the Southeast in closing bilateral and syndicated loans secured by commercial real estate, as well as loans secured by the business assets of corporate borrowers.
Hal also maintains a significant practice focused on the closing and subsequent development of land assemblages for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. In addition, a variety of companies and investors across industry sectors turn to Hal as outside counsel.
Hal has devoted significant time to civic, charitable, and church activities throughout his career. He is a past board member of the J.M. Tull-Gwinnett Family YMCA and has served as a Presbyterian deacon and elder. Additionally, he is a Georgia deputy commissioner of the Clan Campbell Society, North America, and he participates in Scottish Festivals throughout the Southeast in this role.
Hal is a seventh-generation native of Woodbury, Georgia. He is an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and is passionate about all aspects of Scottish history, culture, and music.
