Jordan Johnson advises healthcare providers across Georgia and the Southeast on regulatory compliance, reimbursement challenges, administrative enforcement actions, and policy issues that affect their ability to deliver care and operate successfully. His clients include multistate skilled nursing and rehabilitation networks, statewide long-term care operators, local nonprofit nursing and rehabilitation centers, public healthcare authorities, hospice and behavioral health providers, and companies that support the financial and operational needs of nursing facilities.

Jordan has deep experience with senior housing and long-term care. He helps providers seek reimbursement for or defend against the denial of claims submitted to various payers, including Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Advantage plans, and private insurance companies. He also assists long-term care providers in navigating their complex regulatory environment, including appealing adverse survey findings and alleged deficiencies, responding to enforcement actions, and representing providers in administrative hearings and appeals.

In addition, Jordan regularly advises skilled nursing and long-term care providers on operational and regulatory issues, including involuntary discharges, records requests, guardianship and conservatorship issues, and day-to-day compliance obligations. He also works with healthcare industry stakeholders to advocate for legislative and regulatory reforms affecting aging services and long-term care providers.

A frequent speaker and writer on healthcare reimbursement, Medicaid, nursing facility regulation, survey enforcement, and related healthcare policy developments, Jordan helps clients anticipate and adapt to an evolving regulatory landscape.
