Krista McGuire is a litigator who focuses on the defense of a broad range of clients, including officers and directors, professionals accused of malpractice or negligence, transportation companies, utilities, and management in employment-related claims. Her experience with complex litigation also includes personal injury and wrongful death defense. She has defended clients in class action claims, has successfully defeated class certification, and has represented clients in defending shareholder/member derivative actions.
With experience litigating claims in both state and federal courts, Krista is admitted to practice before the state courts of South Carolina and Florida, as well as the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Middle District of Florida. Krista serves on the Supreme Court of South Carolina's Character and Fitness committee.
