Latia Harvin concentrates her practice on public finance law. She is part of a team of attorneys who provide clients with responsive, thoughtful guidance as they navigate today's complicated municipal bond market.
Latia earned her law degree from the University of South Carolina, where she was a member of several groups, including Women in Law, the Black Law Student Association, Sports and Entertainment Law, and the First Generation Law Student Association. She earned her bachelor's degree from Francis Marion University, where she was the chair of community service for Phi Beta Lambda.
Latia is active in her community, having advocated for the best interests of abused and neglected youth for the past several years through the South Carolina Guardian ad Litem program. She was also a student support services academic coach with the Florence-Darlington Technical College, where she provided academic assistance to program students.
