Laura Wright is a former attorney within the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) who assists clients with their intellectual property needs. Because of her experience at the USPTO analyzing and prosecuting domestic and international trademark applications, she can help clients draft stronger applications and defend those applications before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and federal courts. She has significant knowledge of the Lanham Act, the Trademark Manual of Examining Procedure (TMEP), and applicable case law. 

Laura earned her law degree at UNC-Chapel Hill, where she participated in the Intellectual Property Clinic, was a semifinalist and a quarterfinalist on mock trial teams, and was recognized with the Eugene Gressman and Daniel H. Pollitt Oral Advocacy Award for best argument. She earned her undergraduate degree, in public policy studies and Spanish, at Duke University. 

Outside of work, Laura enjoys Salsa dancing, baking, and calligraphy.
