Lisa Tucker focuses her practice on commercial real estate, land use, and development. She represents commercial buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants in connection with the acquisition, sale, development, leasing, and financing of commercial real estate. She partners with clients on office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, and planned community projects.
Lisa also counsels clients on zoning, development, and land use matters. She represents clients who are seeking approvals from local governing boards, planning boards, and commissions in Charlotte, Raleigh, and throughout North Carolina. In addition, she advises financial institutions on land entitlements.
Before joining Parker Poe, Lisa earned an MBA from Howard University and worked in banking. She provides a unique perspective that bridges the gap between business and law for her clients.
Lisa earned her law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She interned with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in New York and the North Carolina governor's Office of General Counsel.
