Morgan Kleinhandler focuses her practice on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and other elements of corporate law. She has experience with asset and equity purchase agreements for middle‑market private equity and strategic M&A transactions, including private equity transactions valued at $1.3 billion and $980 million.
Morgan has also helped facilitate M&A and venture capital transaction processes. She has represented large financial institutions as lead and minority investors in fintech, artificial intelligence (AI), and other technology companies. She has represented emerging companies at various stages of equity and debt financings as well.
Prior to joining Parker Poe, Morgan was an associate at one of the 50 largest law firms in the U.S. She received her law degree from Wake Forest University, where she was a research editor and staff member for the Wake Forest Law Review. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina Honors College.
