Olivia Daly focuses her practice on corporate, business, and transactional law, where she represents clients ranging from large and small corporations to financial institutions.

Olivia advises clients on complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and the formation of joint ventures. She regularly assists clients with legal needs that develop in the daily operation of a business, advising on commercial contracts, corporate governance, shareholder disputes, and a variety of issues that business clients face.

Olivia also assists clients from various sides of new markets tax credits transactions, advising parties such as the QALICB/borrower, leverage lender, source lender, and community development entity (CDE).

She represents commercial lenders and borrowers in various financing transactions and also advises funders and borrowers in the evolving world of litigation finance.

Olivia co-chairs Parker Poe's Associates Committee and sits on the firm's Recruiting Committee. Outside of the firm, Olivia is part of a young professionals group with the Historic Charleston Foundation.

Olivia received her law degree from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. While in law school, she was a clerk for the Honorable Tilman E. Self in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. Prior to attending law school, Olivia worked for a government contracting agency in Washington, DC. She is also a graduate of Wofford College with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in economics.

Representative Experience

•    Represented Speedway Motorsports Inc. in its acquisition of Dover Motorsports Inc., a publicly traded promoter of NASCAR and other motorsports events.
•    Advised a privately held company on its sale of digital assets to one of the world’s largest digital engineering firms.
•    Represented a major regional bank in commercial lending transactions, including drafting loan documents for various borrowers and reviewing due diligence.
