Robert Osborne is a litigator in Parker Poe's Charleston office. He is part of a Business Litigation Team that represents clients before state and federal courts, governmental agencies, and national and international arbitration panels in the Southeast and across the globe. Robert's practice spans a variety of areas. He is experienced handling contract disputes, construction matters that include mechanic’s liens, bond claims, and construction defect claims, labor and employment issues, professional negligence, and real estate litigation. Robert is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in South Carolina.
Before joining Parker Poe, Robert served as a law clerk for South Carolina Circuit Court Judge James R. Barber III. He received his law degree from the University of South Carolina, where he was symposium editor of the South Carolina Law Review. He also received a Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School. Robert was captain of the varsity men's golf team as an undergraduate at the University of the South (Sewanee).
