Tasneem Dharamsi is a registered patent attorney on Parker Poe's Intellectual Property Team who assists clients in all aspects of preparing and pursuing patent applications, both in the United States and internationally. Tasneem’s experience in enforcing patent rights – before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in post-grant proceedings and in federal court in patent litigation matters – also provides her with a broad perspective on the commercial practicalities and value of patent strategies.

In addition, Tasneem regularly helps clients with trademark enforcement matters that include litigation, takedown notices, proceedings at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), and settlements. She performs all aspects of trademark prosecution, and she advises clients in corporate transactions on trademark, copyright, and patent issues.

Before joining Parker Poe, Tasneem spent several years in practice at a global law firm based in Atlanta. While at the University of North Carolina School of Law, Tasneem was a Chancellors' Scholar and editor of the North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology. Before law school, she volunteered with the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia, helping indigent clients. She earned bachelor's degrees in biology and religious studies from the University of Virginia, where she was an Echols Scholar.

Outside of work, Tasneem enjoys playing the flute, running, cooking, and spending time with her two nieces and cats.
