Tasneem Delphry is part of Parker Poe's Intellectual Property team and represents major companies in trademark enforcement matters that include litigation, takedown notices, trademark oppositions, and settlements. She performs all aspects of trademark prosecution, and she advises clients in mergers and acquisitions on trademark, copyright, and patent issues.
Tasneem also has a background representing both plaintiffs and defendants in patent litigation matters and in inter partes review proceedings. She is experienced at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), in federal district court, and at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
At the University of North Carolina School of Law, Tasneem was a Chancellors' Scholar and editor of the North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology. Before law school, she volunteered with the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia, helping indigent clients. She earned bachelor's degrees in biology and religious studies from the University of Virginia, where she was an Echols Scholar.
Outside of work, Tasneem enjoys playing the flute, running, cooking, and spending time with her husband and cat.
