Zim Fant concentrates his practice on public finance law. He is part of a team of attorneys who provide clients with responsive, thoughtful guidance as they navigate today's complicated municipal bond market.
Before joining Parker Poe, Zim supported attorneys at a Columbia law firm with conducting legal research and analysis in order to support case strategies and client needs. He also drafted briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents. He also was a project coordinator for a civil engineering firm, where he facilitated several phases of the land development process, including due diligence, preparation of proposals and contracts for services, and design of construction drawings.
Zim earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina, where he was on the editorial staff of the South Carolina Law Review. He earned his bachelor's degree from Clemson University, where he was philanthropy chair of Kappa Alpha, organizing events such as a silent auction.
