We have been advised that consular posts in China are temporarily unable to schedule appointments for visa interviews. When the appointments that had been scheduled on or before April 23 are exhausted, applicants will be seen on a first come, first served basis. This procedure will vary from post to post. We will let you know when we receive word that posts are re-opened for visa appointments.

In the meantime, please contact us if you have any travel plans to China which require a new visa stamp for return to the U.S.
