Parker Poe Attorneys Elected to North Carolina Bar Leadership

Two partners of Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP have been elected to leadership positions in the North Carolina State Bar.

Irvin “Hank” W. Hankins III was sworn in as President-Elect of the North Carolina State Bar.  Following normal progression, he will serve as President in 2008.  Mr. Hankins is a litigation partner in the Charlotte office.  He received a JD, with honors, in 1975 and an AB in 1968 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

David Neal Allen, a litigation partner in the Charlotte office, was elected as a State Bar Councilor from Mecklenburg County for a three-year term effective January 2007.  Mr. Allen received a JD in 1980 and an AB in 1977 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
