Parker Poe Strengthens Its Health Care Team with the Addition of Jeremy R. Jessen in Columbia

Parker Poe announced today that Jeremy Jessen has joined the Firm in its Columbia office.  Mr. Jessen is an associate practicing in the areas of Health Care and Administrative Law.

Prior to joining Parker Poe, Mr. Jessen worked as Assistant Regional Counsel for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of the General Counsel (HHS-OGC). Mr. Jessen represented the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in administrative hearings to enforce federal regulations, and he handled Medicare reimbursement/termination matters. Mr. Jessen also had the opportunity to collaborate with the HHS Office of the Inspector General and the Department of Justice on criminal and civil fraud investigations.

Mr. Jessen received his JD, from Emory University and his BA, magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina.
