Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP announced today that Jay R. Hoodenpyl has joined the Firm as an associate in its Myrtle Beach office.  Mr. Hoodenpyl is a real estate attorney counseling clients on resort, hospitality, planned and commercial developments.  He has represented national and regional shopping center developers, industrial landowners and a national restaurant operator in development and leasing.

Mr. Hoodenpyl drafts and negotiates purchase and sale agreements for buyers and sellers of commercial real estate. He also advises developers in structuring commercial projects, including drafting of covenants and easements. In addition, he represents landlords and tenants in negotiating and preparing leases for retail and industrial properties

Prior to joining Parker Poe, Mr. Hoodenpyl practiced with Troutman Sanders LLP in Atlanta.  He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
