Anthony Fox Elected to Parker Poe's Board of Directors

Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP announced today that Anthony Fox has been elected to the Firm’s Board of Directors where he will serve a three-year term.  The Board is responsible for setting and implementing firm policies and strategic plans.  

Mr. Fox has extensive experience advising municipalities, public sector clients, regulated industries and corporate clients on all aspects of municipal and governmental transactions including annexation, telecommunications, public finance, land use, transportation and administrative law.

Mr. Fox is active within the community holding numerous positions, including director and second vice president of the North Carolina Association of Municipal Attorneys and director and former general counsel for the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce.  He is also a member of the Board of Visitors for North Carolina Central University School of Law and the Board of Trustees for Presbyterian Hospital.

As chair of Parker Poe’s Diversity Committee, Mr. Fox is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s efforts to promote and facilitate a working environment of inclusion, respect and opportunity for all employees through education, special initiatives and hiring and retention practices.  He also serves as the chair of the Parker Poe Johnson C. Smith Scholarship Committee. 

Mr. Fox received his Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University, his Masters in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from North Carolina A & T State University.
