Parker Poe Expands Its Health Care Practice with the Addition of John Crill in Raleigh

Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP announced today that John L. Crill has joined the Firm as special counsel in the Government & Public Policy Practice Group and a member of the Health Care industry team. He will be resident in the Firm’s Raleigh office.

For more than 25 years, Mr. Crill has represented hospitals and medical practices. He serves as general counsel to several hospitals and physician practices and has extensive transactional experience involving joint ventures, mergers and the sale and acquisition of health care facilities and medical practices.

Attorneys in Parker Poe’s Health Care industry team provide legal services to a wide range of health care clients such as hospitals and health systems, publicly traded health services companies, physician practices, home health, home care and hospice agencies, diagnostic clinics, ambulatory surgical facilities, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, disease treatment centers, clinical laboratories, sleep disorder centers and trade associations. In 2007, Parker Poe represented the winning bidder in the state's largest information technology procurement involving a $171 million contract to replace and operate the state's Medicaid claims processing system and service the technology needs of several other state agencies.

Mr. Crill joins Parker Poe from the law firm of Wyrick Robbins Yates & Ponton. He has been recognized among The Best Lawyers in America and North Carolina Super Lawyers in Health Care. Mr. Crill received his Bachelor of Arts from Allegheny College and his LL.B from Duke University.
