Parker Poe Expands Employment & Employee Benefits Group with the Addition of John Mann in Raleigh

The law firm of Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP announced today that John W. Mann has joined Parker Poe as special counsel resident in the Raleigh office.  Mr. Mann focuses his practice in the areas of employment litigation and counseling and commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Parker Poe, Mr. Mann served as an assistant attorney general in the Special Litigation/Education Division of the North Carolina Department of Justice.  He represented the University of North Carolina and its sixteen constituent institutions, the community college system and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.  Before his position with the North Carolina Department of Justice, Mr. Mann practiced as an employment litigator in a regional law firm.

Mr. Mann received his BA and JD (with high honors) from the University of North Carolina. Mr. Mann is admitted to the bar in North Carolina.
