Parker Poe Adds Attorney to Myrtle Beach Office

Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP announced today that Zeb M. Thomas III  joined the firm’s Real Estate and Commercial Development practice as a Partner in its Myrtle Beach, South Carolina office.

Zeb Thomas practices commercial real estate, corporate and tax law. He represents clients in commercial real estate transactions including the sale and purchase of raw land, hotels and resort properties, offices, and retail buildings. Mr. Thomas also counsels borrowers and lenders in the area of commercial financing including acquisition loans, development loans, and loan workouts. Having worked directly in real estate development, he provides knowledge and experience with regard to drafting development documents and advising clients on zoning matters and land use planning. Mr. Thomas is an experienced corporate and business lawyer who works with companies and individuals to create favorable tax structures and to represent such clients in the purchase and sale of businesses, entity formations, creation of joint ventures, and corporate restructurings. 

Prior to joining Parker Poe, Mr. Thomas was a partner at a 400+ attorney law firm in Myrtle Beach. He received his BA from Wake Forest University in 1994, his MBA and JD from the University of South Carolina in 1999, and his LLM (Taxation) from the University of Florida in 2001.
